JOYA ARTE+ECOLOGIA

A series of site-specific, and site responsive experiments using minimal, found, and environmentally friendly materials, light, and video, 2017.

Completed during the Joya Arte+Ecologia residency, an off-the-grid residency in southern Spain.

This residency was an amazing gift of time. I allowed it to bring my artistic practice back to the essential. I used only what I could find. The installations began to form a loose narrative linked to my own grappling with loss and rebuilding.
